What type of care do you offer?
At Hutton Park, we provide Residential, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care for our residents.
Residents at Hutton Park who require simple support with everyday activities, such as mobility, or help with such tasks as washing, dressing or eating, will find lots of highly trained and dedicated staff on hand to assist. Our residents can enjoy treatments in our Hair Salon area, and join us for a delicious home-cooked lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal.
Our staff are fully trained and qualified to deal with all aspects of dementia. Our staff treat all of our residents as individuals and tailor care around their needs.
At Hutton Park, we provide care for residents who are nearing the end of their life, in our caring, supportive and familiar environment. We aim to ease suffering and enhance a resident's remaining life, helping them to live as well as possible with dignity and respect. We also offer support to their family during this difficult time.
At Hutton Park, we know that sometimes everyone needs a time out. Whether you care for a loved one or need a break yourself, you can truly relax in knowing that a safe, welcoming environment awaits.
How will you help me to settle in?
Our experienced team are passionate about welcoming and integrating each resident to their new home, and we will take as much time as you need to settle into your new home. Residents are welcome to bring personal items, such as photographs, ornaments, etc. to make your room truly your own. From the moment you arrive at Hutton

How often are visits permitted?
There are no set visiting times, friends and family are welcome to visit as often as they want and we encourage them to become fully involved in life at Hutton Park. However, for security

How will I pass the time at Hutton Park?
Various social events, entertainment and activities are organised to ensure that there is always something interesting and stimulating going on. Our Activities Coordinators will support and encourage you with any hobby and shopping trips, and individual therapeutic treatments can be arranged to suit your needs.
We have strong links with the local community and we will work alongside other Care Homes in the local area to arrange meet ups and outings for all residents to socialise.
Birthdays are celebrated with a party and you will also receive a complimentary birthday cake. Private functions can also be arranged so you can spend some precious time with your loved ones.
What is the food like?
Delicious and nutritious meals are prepared onsite by our in-house cook and catering staff using local suppliers for meat, fruit and vegetables. Our breakfast, lunch and supper are served in the main dining room;
Prior to your arrival, our Home Manager Christina McCallum will be delighted to have a full consultation with you, to discuss your needs and requirements, and tell you more about Hutton Park Care Home. For those who so wish, we are pleased to offer a four-week trial stay period for you to assess our services.
