Facilities
We have a wide range of high-quality facilities available as well as a stimulating activities programme that our residents are encouraged to involve themselves in.
Accommodation
Choose from a variety of spacious en-suite single rooms that are complemented by welcoming reception areas, spacious and well-equipped activity areas and delightful, uninterrupted, panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde. We encourage all of our residents to personalise their rooms.
Throughout the home, we’ve worked hard to get that all important home-from-home feel, interiors are light and airy as are the comfortable communal lounges. Outside, Hutton Park boasts extensive gardens with space for resident gardening.
Relax and Enjoy
For those who would prefer to relax.… Our peaceful lounge is an ideal place to immerse yourself in a good book - we have large print library services available.
Our salon will provide everything you need to feel pampered.
Evenings bring their own entertainment: after dinner, why not enjoy your favourite tipple or tea in the garden with friends and family looking out at the beautiful scenery.
Dining at Hutton Park
Our chefs are proud to create an ever-changing menu: we also want our residents to share their favourite recipes, and enjoy creating new and exciting dishes with their input.
We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements and requests, no matter how unusual! It is this collaboration with our residents, both in our kitchen and throughout the home, that is a real point of difference for us: personal choice and preference are so important, our team value and understand this.
Every Day is Different
As well as fine dining, we host regular gatherings and celebrations. Our dedicated Activities Co-Ordinator ensures that there is always something interesting going on for our residents to participate in.
The Hutton Park mini-bus caters perfectly for local outings on a regular basis.
If you are feeling adventurous and would like a stroll, we are close to all churches, bowling and putting greens, Barrfields Pavilion and swimming pool, the award winning Vikingar Centre and the local Age Concern Centre.
The town of Largs itself has much to offer the elderly community and their families, including a selection of tearooms and coffee shops as well as local interest groups to cater for every taste. An added benefit for our residents is the absence of steep hills in the town making all facilities easily accessible - the home is only a ten-minute leisurely stroll along the promenade from the town centre.
